Zero to Hero Leadership for Women was born from a simple, frustrating truth: the leadership world wasn't built for women. So that is why I built this.
The story behind the course
I realised in a very short time of working with other managers that the Women were better than the men. Why because they want to learn and listen listen and listen,have empathy,get to know their staff, do not bring their worries to work with them. At that time there was a survey done by a national newspaper 10.000 male and 10.000 females.Asking who would they prefer to be their manager.male or female The result being 78% for men and 22% for women. That has now changed THANK GOD It is now in favour of Women and from my experience so it should be They do make the best managers with the correct training and I know that through experience.Hence my course is aimed at women only.
I spent over a decade in leadership roles, studying what separates the women who rise from the women who wait. I read every book, attended every seminar, and earned every credential. And then I did something more important: I listened. I listened to hundreds of women tell me exactly where they were stuck, what they were afraid of, and what they needed to finally break through.

Michael's story
From first-time manager to leadership coach
You can never demand respect, but you can command respect.
My name is Michael Murray. At 46, I joined BT after just one week of leadership training — and with no previous experience of managing a team. I was given the call centre's worst-performing team and decided to put every new skill I had learned into practice.
Coaching quickly became one of my favourite leadership tools. By combining it with practical, people-first leadership, I helped that team become the top-performing team in the centre within four months. Some of the other managers questioned my approach, but an investigation found no wrongdoing — only good leadership.
The results led BT's leadership team to ask me to support a struggling call centre in Bristol. I worked with 50 managers, delivering training one-to-one and in groups, and introduced a leadership approach that put coaching ahead of command-and-control management.
Four months later, Call Centre Director Alan Cunningham wrote to recognise the difference the training had made. Sickness and absenteeism fell by 42%, while the centre's overall performance improved. A copy of that letter is included in the course.
My guiding belief has always been: You can never demand respect, but you can command respect. I have since trained managers in other organisations, but I no longer want to spend my life travelling. I want more time with my wife and daughter — which is why I am making this full course available for £25 instead of £150.
